In October 2012 Zerrin met Argentine Tango with Tango Yorkshire & was fascinated by the dance from day one, her Tango journey started from that moment. Up to this date she has continued her local Tango journey with teachers including Yohann Le Grand, Richard Manuel and many visiting Argentinian guest teachers. She has been travelling to Europe & Turkey for Tango to explore dancing and styles of teaching outside of UK with her chosen many favourite Maestros. Currently her favourite Maestros to study with are Vanesa Villalba and Facundo Pinero.
Her aim is to continue travelling for Tango and share her experience with others through teaching and organising events. She would like to inspire & encourage others to enjoy Argentine Tango as much as she does.
For Zerrin Tango is a conversation between the two dance partners & connection to the music. She believes it is a partner dance where both roles, follower & leader, are active & connected. She would like to pass her passion, skills & enthusiasm of Tango with her dance style to her students.
Zerrin also DJ's for Tango Leeds’ social milongas since 2018. She enjoys sharing her taste of Tango music & keeping the dancers on the dance floor.
